Aitch is a business with a conscience. We aim to have a lasting, positive impact on the economy and environment, locally and globally. This is why our CSR policy focuses on two main areas: homes and communities and the way we work.

After consulting with community residents and other stakeholders we design energy efficient homes that enhance their surroundings, both aesthetically and environmentally. And alongside our regeneration schemes, Aitch also runs charitable activities to support communities and bring them financial benefit. By providing cost-effective, attractive housing, a stronger infrastructure and increasing local employment, we contribute towards a brighter future for everybody.

The other aspect of our CSR policy is the way we work. We attract and retain the best employees in our sector by providing a safe, fair, rewarding and respectful working environment.

Ensuring the safety of our employees, sub-contractors and the general public is our top priority. We encourage a positive health and safety culture throughout the Group with established systems and procedures.

All our offices are fully accessible and we provide detailed risk assessments for every site operative. We also adhere to an equal opportunities policy that supports the development of skills and knowledge throughout the organisation.
